Social Sciences and Humanities Hub
The Social Sciences and Humanities Hub (The Hub) within ASMASYS serves as a cross-cutting research structure addressing the social, political, ethical, and governance aspects of mCDR options. Building on insights from the first phase of the CDRmare research mission, the Hub integrates expertise from social sciences and humanities to tackle issues that go beyond the technical and method-specific focus of the other work packages. The Hub promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, where researchers work together to explore overarching challenges related to mCDR, such as governance frameworks, regulatory interactions, and the integration of mCDR into climate policies. Through continuous knowledge exchange and responsive research, the Hub ensures that critical societal questions surrounding mCDR are addressed, contributing valuable insights to the broader CDRmare mission.
